Thoughtfully designed handmade ceramic home goods with a focus on lighting. Intended to foster spaces of warmth, creativity, and connection for your dream home. All pieces are hand-thrown by a human named Mariah and supervised by a pup named Ruby in Central Oregon.
About
Meet the Artist
Mariah is a multi-passionate maker, outdoor adventurer, and human in the pursuit of being fully alive. She recently left a career in medicine to “let the soft animal of her body love what it loves” to make lamps for you.
She fell in love with clay 20 years ago after serendipitously stumbling across a community studio. Clay teaches and gifts her daily with lessons of patience, presence, non-attachment, healing, and grounding. She loves the dance with mud to create something really beautiful. She started making lamps while working on a hospital team during the COVID pandemic in a time she literally and figuratively needed more light, so she started making lamps, and as she tends to do, she fell in love. Clay brings joy and light to her world, and she hopes her work brings the same to you.
When not making pots, she's helping people live aligned and joyful lives through life coaching, walking along the Deschutes River with her sweet dog Ruby, or connecting with dear friends while likely playing outside on bikes, skis, or rocks.
